Hi nadia,
thank you so much, you are so sweeeet! i am going to comment here, unless anyone else wants to know the answer to your questions. i use a canon 5D, and i absolutely love it. i just got it this year and it totally upped photo quality and just all around photo awesomeness. i've never shot as much as this year as in my whole life! i try to, as much as possible, use natural light. i'm a little anti-flash sometimes. but flash does have its time and place, and can look really need. i have a 580 flash and i use a battery pack that buckles onto my belt, and also a gary fong light diffuser on top (that is the lighting used in that picture of myrrhia). I also do post processing on all of my photos, for a little more pizazz. It is time consuming, but i believe people hire me for the little extra pizazz and so i take extra care in treating their pictures right! let me know if you have any other questions, thanks again for commenting!

thank you for answering that's really kind of you! I don't like using flash light either, but as I only have the kit object lens (with the canon 450D)i sometimes have to use it, cause the object lens is not that good :) That really annoys me cause it ruins a lot of pictures. is there an object lens you could recommend especially for portraits?
thanks again! keep on shining :)
