i overheard my grandparents praying before lunch today. my grandpa said "...thank you for the wife of my youth, i am glad and rejoice in her..." so sweet. its from Proverbs 5:18 where it says "...may you rejoice in the wife of your youth." they just had their 65th wedding anniversary a few weeks ago :)

internship complete :)

wow.. where did the last few months go?! today was the last day of the internship- and our first wedding is this saturday, woohoo! i am sooo impressed with stephanie and kayla. they are quick learners, and they are so helpful and sweet. they are finishing up their final slideshows for their blogs ini the next week or so- so make sure to check them out :) we took a few snaps today to wrap it up, and we'll keep posting more as we go along- now that they are part of the annajoyphoto team :) the new internship is in process and under wraps still, stay tuned :)

i love this girl. crazy and beautiful and wonderful! she is an extension of camp joy (see a few posts below) though she lives in another city, she's still a part of us! she is like my little sister (though she's taller than me!), and we have so much fun together.

my beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful sister is preggers with my much awaited and longed for first niece; little yarin grace. i will try to put up a few more, but here are a few for now. yarin grace means "to understand God's grace" :) i love it. i can't wait to meet her. the baby shower was amazing and beautiful, i'll try to put up a few photos of that too, it was put on by my sister rachel joy and she did a wonderful crafty job!

dear blog readers,

if you didn't know, i have two other blogs, one of them being CAMPJOY.tumblr.com! (the other is prevailzine.tumblr.com!) camp joy started last summer after I worked in the day care at a school for a year and made close friends with some of the awesome kids :) mikayla and miranda were a couple of the girlies that came to the summer camp we made up... an extension of our time together since i was done at the school after that year. we had sooo much fun last summer.. we made videos everyday and took pictures and chronicled everything over at our blog. this school year we started up camp joy (resurrected) and hope to continue in the summer again :) anyways, we did a shoot today and the photos came out so sweet, these girls are BEAUTIFUL and i loooooove them so much! heres a few that i liked... you can check out more at campjoy.tumblr.com later if you want :)

hello all! so after the snowy picture below that i posted from my trip last weekend to hume lake, ca... visiting my special friend, i came back down to san luis obispo for my brother in law mike larson's photo workship. the first day was biblical business principles, which was super cool and helpful, but i couldn't stay around long because of my silly allergies. but i did get to attend the next two days of the seminar, which included some photo shoots, it was awesome. there were about 30ish people the biblical principles day (it was a sweet, free workshop!) and 18 the next two days. here are a few shots below from the last day of the workshop that i liked:

a few weeks ago we did a shoot of a bunch of the kids in the gallegos crew. we did the other side of the family now, and boy was it a hoot! the photos are cute and fun, and it was a fulltime job keeping 13 kids all in one spot- haha!
